Eurofins INGENASA participates as a partner of the European project H2020 ParaFishControl
Eurofins INGENASA participates as a partner of the European project H2020 ParaFishControl, which addresses the study of the main parasitic diseases affecting European aquaculture, from basic scientific knowledge of fish-parasite interactions to the development of effective prevention, treatment and mitigation strategies.
ParaFishControl project aims to increase the sustainability and competitiveness of European aquaculture and gathers 29 partners, both public and private institutions, from 13 European countries.
The third annual meeting of the project took place at the Library and Information Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences of Budapest and facilitated effective knowledge exchange within the consortia members. Carmen Galán and Paloma Rueda from INGENASA presented the latest progress towards the development of rapid diagnostic tests for newly characterized fish parasites.
